Our Practice Participates in Clinical Trials in Partnership with Javara.
Discuss with your Physician Today.
We conduct clinical trials to help find new and better ways of preventing, diagnosing and treating disease. Results from clinical trials help determine if a medicine or medical device is ready to go to market.
As a participant in a trial, you may receive access to treatments and diagnostics that may not otherwise be available and that could potentially lead to improved health outcomes. Additionally, you may receive compensation for study time and/or travel.
If you are potentially eligible for a study, you may be contacted by a Javara research team member on our behalf to see if you are interested. Privia’s Notice of Privacy Practices describes how your data may be shared with our trusted partners for research purposes. Participation in a clinical trial is always 100% optional and your access to medical care will not be impacted if you choose not to participate.
We offer clinical trials that we believe will allow us to improve the quality of care of our patients. Read our letter to patients about clinical research here.
Your primary care physician serves as the entry point for substantially all of your medical and health care needs. He or she is your advocate in coordinating the use of the entire health care system to benefit you and takes continuing responsibility for providing your care. Primary care includes health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. By regularly seeing a primary care practitioner, you can identify and control health risk factors before they become problems. Your primary care practitioner encourages you to take charge of your health and is a trusted partner in an environment where you can feel comfortable and known.
At Central Virginia Family Physicians, we offer preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide array of acute and chronic problems.
Our Family Medicine practices provide care for infants, children and adolescents, adults and senior citizens including the following:
Physician’s Treatment Center (PTC) and CVFP Medical Group have partnered together to create Walk-In-Care, LLC. This collaborative effort provides for expanded access to Central Virginia and blends the best of both PTC and CVFP Immediate Care Centers. Walk-In-Care’s services are offered seven days a week for acute illness, injuries, work-related accidents, and also DOT, sports and camp physicals. Walk-In-Care patients have access to CVFP Medical Group’s Laboratory and Diagnostic Center, which are both 1/3 the cost of most competing regional services.
We recommend contacting your insurance prior to your visit to ensure the services you’re seeking are covered, as your payment responsibility may vary based on your insurance coverage. If you are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we can take cash/checks/credit cards and can also work with you to set up payment plans.
