Lynchburg, VA – August 4, 2025 – CVFP Medical Group, in collaboration with the Medical Society of Virginia, is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for our Integrated Primary and Behavioral Health Care programming. This funding, provided through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), will support the expansion of access to behavioral health and substance use treatment services in underserved areas.
CVFP Medical Group is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Medicare/Medicare Advantage Clinic at the CVFP Forest location. This clinic will be spearheaded by Dr. Jarrett Dodd, supported by a skilled team including Jourdann Kirk, PA-C, and Libby White, FNP, all dedicated to a team-based approach to patient care.
Today marks a significant milestone as we bid farewell to an extraordinary physician and a cherished member of our community. After 34 years of dedicated service, Dr. John Carmack is retiring from CVFP!
