Biography
Dr. Poch grew up in Roanoke, VA, and stayed local for most of his education. He went to college at Liberty University, then attended medical school at VCOM in Blacksburg, VA. It was there he joined the Army through the HPSP and after graduating went to Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA for his internship and residency. At Ft. Gordon, he met his best friend and future wife. They were both stationed at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, NC after residency, where Dr. Poch worked at Robinson Health Clinic and then was brought in as faculty at the Womack Army Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program where he was blessed to get to teach with his wife. After finishing their contracts with the Army, the Poch family moved to Lynchburg to be closer to extended family and join CVFP.
