Dr. Gregg Albers of CVFP-Monelison officially retired from Family Medicine Friday, October 30th! While Dr. Albers practiced in Lynchburg for many years at Light Medical before joining CVFP in 2018, we are happy to have had him on our team for his final, three years of practice.
Dr. Albers directed Liberty University Health Services for 27 years and began Light Medical in 1987. Dr. Albers also authored four books and numerous articles about health care, politics and education, and has spoken across the country at national and local meetings. Dr. Albers was the Chairman for the Liberty Godparent Foundation, the Chairman of the Liberty Christian Academy Board, and taught DLP classes at Liberty University, and is still involved with the music ministry of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
We thank Dr. Albers for his many years of service to our local community and wish him a Happy & Healthy Retirement!
